Go into the hive this Saturday at Orange County Arboretum

MONTGOMERY — The second of three hands-on beekeeping classes offered by the Southeastern Beekeepers Club will take place Saturday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Orange County Arboretum The interactive presentations will cover the beekeeping year-from installing a package or nuc to conducting hive inspections to preparing the hive for winter. The last class is scheduled for Oct. 6. Pre-registration is required and a veil is recommended. Children ages 8-12 are free if accompanied by a paid adult. Beginners and experienced beekeepers are welcome. The cost is $40 per class. To register send your name, address, phone and e-mail address along with payment to SEBC, P.O.
