CENTRAL VALLEY — The North Main Elementary Drama Club will present its production of “Flat Stanley Jr.” with two free shows on Saturday, March 31 at 7 p.m. and Sunday April 1 at 2 p.m. at the Central Valley Elementary Auditorium.

The drama club performances historically feature standing room only audiences and offer community members an opportunity to appreciate the talents of students who have been preparing for the shows since last fall, according to organizers.

In “Flat Stanley Jr.” Stanley Lambchop is an ordinary 10-year-old who has big dreams; he wishes to travel the world doing amazing things that no one has ever seen before. He learns to be careful for what he wishes for.

As part of the preparation for the production, high school and elementary art students created a global mural that is now the centerpiece in North Main’s main hallway to track Stanley’s adventures throughout the school. The entire school community has integrated Flat Stanley into its classroom research and shared its projects throughout the building.

The cast includes: David Nebrasky as the French museum curator O.J. Dart; Sydny Centeno as the painting of Mona Lisa; Rohan Daley as Stanley Lambchop; Eric Perricelli as a painting of Napoleon; Danae Drews as the Sneak Thief; Justin Polanco as Arthur; John DePetris as Mr. Lambchop; Emma Dawson as Mrs. Lambchop, and Angelina Scarazzini as Mrs. Cartero, the mail carrier.

The production includes the talent of other drama club students working behind the scenes.
