Fishing for a great meal on Election Day?

Goshen — There’s no need to get out your fishing pole and head for the lake. Just head for the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen instead for a fabulous fish and chips dinner. Once more the Mission Committee at the church will host a tasty fish and chips dinner, complete with fish, chips, coleslaw, condiments, beverage and homemade dessert. Ticket price is $12.50 per dinner. The dinner will be held on Election Day — Tuesday, Nov. 2. Doors open at 5 p.m. for takeout orders and seating for dining in will begin at 5:30 p.m. Because of the event’s popularity, it’s best to purchase tickets in advance, available at the First Presbyterian Church office, 33 Park Place, Goshen, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Liz’s Place Salon (open Tuesday to Saturday, late nights Wednesday and Friday until 7 p.m.), and Joe’s Fix Its (open 8:30 to 5:30 daily; Wednesday until 8:30 p.m.).
