Extra, extra: ‘The News in Revue' scoops it all

    MONROE-Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players is bringing political and social satire to the Hudson Valley throughout April with Nancy Holson's award-winning musical production of "The News In Revue." Tune into this timely parody of today's headlines with this up-to-date song and dance presentation that is best referred to as a cross between "60 Minutes" and "Saturday Night Live." Performances are scheduled for Saturdays, April16 and 23, at 8 p.m. and Sundays, April 17 and 24 at 7 p.m. All performances are at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M, in Monroe. Tickets are $20 each, which includes dessert after the show consisting of "political punch,", "multi-national muffins" and coffee. Group rates are available and reservations are suggested.
