MIDDLETOWN — Award-winning illusionist Mike Super, winner of NBC’s prime time competition show “Phenomenon” in 2007, will bring his unique brand of magic and humor to SUNY Orange’s Middletown campus for a 7 p.m. performance in Orange Hall Theatre on Friday, Sept. 14.
Super is the only magician in history to win a live magic competition on prime time network television. He also has received “Performing Arts Entertainer of the Year” accolades in both 2011 and 2012 from the International Magician’s Society. He was also tabbed “America’s Best Entertainer of the Year” by “Campus Activities Magazine.”
Super appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ television show, making her appear from nothing but shadows. After he did it, she said, “I haven’t come out like that since the cover of TIME magazine!”
