Cornwall museum presents ‘The Great Sunflower Project’

CORNWALL — On Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum presents “The Great Sunflower Project” at the Outdoor Discovery Center on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall.

In celebration of National Pollinator Week (June 18-24) join environmental educator Pam Golben to learn about this citizen science summer project for the whole family. Participants will take home a sunflower plant to get started. Find out how to record and report the count of bee visitors to an international database.

Recommended for adults with or without children and for children age 5 and up. Admission: $7 adults, $5 children 12 and under; museum members: $5 adults, $3 children 12 and under.
