Comic books feature Poe

Norm Westphal, pictured alongside his Great Classics Comic Books collection which features two comic books of Edgar Allan Poe’s works, “The Fall of the House of Usher” and “The Raven.” The collection will be on display at the Greenwood Lake Public Library until Oct. 31, to coincide with The Big Read-Great Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe, sponsored by the Orange Library Association and hosted by 17 public libraries in Orange County. Westphal’s collection, including other literary classics, is part of the Senior Division of the Collectible Series currently celebrating its 10 year. The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.
