Chabad offers community Seder

Chester Community members are invited to participate in Chabad of Orange County’s community Seders to be held on Monday, April 18, at 7 p.m., and on Tuesday, April 19, at 7:45 p.m. at Chabad’s Monroe-Chester Center, located at 1170 Route 17M, Suite 1, in Chester. The Seders will feature a discussion about Passover, food, crispy hand-made matzah, singing and an educational children’s program. Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston will facilitate the inter-generational program. The eight-day Jewish festival of Passover is celebrated this year from sundown on Monday, April 18, until after nightfall on Tuesday, April 26. Passover commemorates the miraculous exodus of the Jews from Egyptian slavery. Reservations for the Seder must be made in advance by calling Chabad at 782-2770 or by emailing RSVP@ChabadOrange.com.
