Blessing of the animals at St. James

Goshen — St. James Episcopal Church at 1 St. James’ Place in Goshen will hold a service on the lawn and blessing of annimals to commemorate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Children and adults are invited to bring their pets and stuffed animals for a blessing, and to enjoy refreshments on the front lawn of the church just off the village green in Goshen.
