Behold the moon and Mars on July 27

MIDDLETOWN — Catch a glimpse of the Red Planet among a full, moonlit sky and learn about the natural history of Moonbeams Preserve on this guided walk led by volunteer guide and naturalist Gary Keeton on Friday, July 27, from 7:45 to 9:30 p.m.
Participants on this easy, one-mile round trip walk will have a special opportunity to observe Mars, which will be at its brightest since 2003.
Terrain is primarily flat with some rolling hills. Wearing long pants and closed-toe sneakers or boots are recommended. Please bring water.
A donation of $5 is suggested to support the Orange County Land Trust's efforts to conserve Orange County's diverse habitats, watershed lands and wildlife corridors.
