    Neil Young Tribute Fest at Palaia Central Valley — Palaia Vineyards and Winery will host a Neil Young Tribute Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 24 (noon to 8 p.m.) and July 25 (noon to 6 p.m.). Admission of $10 at the door goes to Joan’s Legacy fighting lung cancer. Bands and single acts are donating their time and talent to play a set or two of all Neil Young songs. Federation seeks artists for forthcoming exhibit Sugar Loaf — Participating artists are being sought for the Orange County Art Federation’s 47th annual Juried Art Exhibition in September. The exhibit will take in The Lycian Centre Galleries at The Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts, 1351 Kings Highway in Sugar Loaf Sept. 2 to 28. Officials said this will be a multi-media exhibition representing “a plethora of the works and talents of artists from all over Orange County and the Hudson Valley.” Timothy John-Luke Smith will serve as judge this year. Become a blood donor and receive free tickets to Renaissance Faire Warwick — Donors will receive two complementary tickets to the New York Renaissance Faire when they donate blood from Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 28 at Community Blood Services’ Warwick or New Windsor donor centers. SUNY Orange Symphonic Band to perform three concerts MIDDLETOWN - The SUNY Orange Symphonic Band will offer a mixture of light classics, popular favorites, marches, jazz and Hollywood themes during three performances at locations across Orange County. Under the direction of Kevin Scott, the band’s first concert will be held at the Village Center Gazebo on Route 52 in Pine Bush on, Friday, July 30 at 7 p.m.. The band will also participate in the Fire Fighter’s Day celebration at Museum Village in Monroe, taking the stage at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 1. The group’s final concert will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 at Middletown’s Festival Square on East Main Street. Admission to the Pine Bush and Middletown concerts will be free but there will be an entry fee for the Museum Village event. Nth Degree to give a free concert this Saturday Goshen — Nth Degree, playing on Saturday, July 24, 7 p.m. at Salesian Park in Goshen, is a rock/jazz crossover band playing popular music ranging from classic rock instrumental covers to jam jazz and groove. The band’s music is best described as instrumental jazz-funk, covering tunes from well known classic rock and jazz groups including the Doobie Brothers, Pat Methany, Steely Dan, Miles Davis, Santana and others. Nth Degree has performed at many festivals including the Goshen Jazz Festival, and Goshen’s Summer Park Music Series, as well as in a host of restaurant and club venues.
