Kyle Roddy has the experience needed in the state Assembly
I am writing to explain why I am supporting Kyle Roddey for New York’s 99th Assembly district.
Kyle is currently the mayor of the Village of Goshen and manages a restaurant in Chester. He knows what it is like to work hard each day and hears first-hand what is bothering New Yorkers.
He manages a business, interacts with customers daily and also makes day-to-day decisions to run a village.
There is no substitute for experience.
Kyle is the endorsed candidate for the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties.
In 2009, Roddey was elected as a Village Trustee in Goshen, then was appointed sewer commissioner and became a liaison to the Goshen Joint Recreation Commission before being elected mayor in 2011.
As mayor, he inherited problems and began working hard to find solutions to fix them.
Kyle implemented an aggressive infrastructure improvement plan, complied with various DEC mandates, improved relationships with neighboring municipalities, drafted pro-business policies, and saved the people of Goshen more than $230,000 by reducing payroll, soliciting bids and cutting unnecessary spending.
For the last few months he has been going door-to-door all around the 99th district, trying to meet with as many people as he can.
His campaign commits to ethics reform, protection of citizens’ Second Amendment rights, property tax relief and deregulation of business.
Roddey has experience working with government issues and solving problems. That’s what we need now in Albany.
Because of his experience in business and government, I believe he is the best candidate to represent the taxpayers of the 99th Assembly district.
Please support Kyle by voting for him on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and let’s get the people of New York working again and the politicians in Albany working together to fix our problems.
