Time Warner Cable offers scholarship

A college scholarship is available through Time Warner Cable East Region/NYC to eligible area students. The $3,000 scholarship is available to high school students who wish to pursue college education in science, technology, engineering or math. Students must have a 3.2 GPA and demonstrate a financial need. The student’s parent or guardian must be a Time Warner Cable customer. “With the job market becoming more competitive combined with an increased demand for math and the hard sciences, this scholarship is a wonderful way to help young people get started on a career in several emerging fields,” said Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (RIC-Greenwood Lake).
