M-W Pop Warner PeeWees are state champions

The Monroe-Woodbury Pop Warner PeeWees competed in the N.Y.S. Empire Classic Football Tournament championship on Sunday, Nov. 19, at Union College in Schenectady, winning the title by defeating the Westchester Jets 25-6. Players on the team in no specific order are Shea Coddington, Gjon Rappi, Kristian Rappi, Jordan Brown, Joey Pennilino, Jake Carter, Connor Fitzgibbons, Colin Newcomb, Connor Williamson, Liam Gallagher, Dan Connolly, Tommy Rogers, Jimmy Finnegan, Kyle Trinkle, Michael Rowe, Ryan Casserly, Jeremy Rojas, Sawyer Catalano, Matteo Severo, Anthony Mara and Matt Holbrook.
