Crusaders crushed Warwick Wildcats 15-1

    WARWICK — The Crusaders bats came alive when they traveled to Warwick Tuesday afternoon to face the Wildcats.
    The Crusaders pounded out 12 hits and scored a season-high 15 runs.
    The attack was led by Davis Espinal (2 hits, 3 runs and 2 RBIs), Sean Lynch (2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBIs) and Ben Crowley (2 hits, 3 runs and 1 RBI).
    Crusaders set the tone for the game when they scored five in the top of the first and then scored at least one run in every other inning of the game.
    On the mound for Monroe-Woodbury, Connor Olson tossed a three-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out three.
    The Crusaders 15-1 victory brings their season record to 3-0.
    Their next game will be on Thursday when they host the Washingtonville Wizards
