Ziza Nezaj, proud mother of Brendon Brahimi, resident of Monroe, proudly announces her sonís graduation with the Marine Corps 3rd Battalion, Platoon 3070, Parris Island, S.C. Brendon earned the title of a United States Marine in September after an intensive 12-week training program that builds Marines with the core values of the Marine Corps: Honor, courage and commitment. He is currently in combat training in Jacksonville, N.C., and will continue on to his career choice of aeronautical engineering in Pensacola, Fla. Brendon is a 2010 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School.
