Grammy Award-winning recording artist Rob Thomas and his wife Marisol Thomas recently attended the Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary dedication of Camp Tyler for Dogs, in honor of their dog Tyler, adopted from Pets Alive. Camp Tyler is the home and temporary sanctuary for all of the rescued dogs. Pets Alive presented them with the Pets Alive Starfish Award in recognition of their advocacy for animal welfare, animal rescue and support of the no-kill movement. It also announced plans for a new medical building funded in part by The Thomas’ Sidewalk Angels Foundation to support the entire community with low-cost spay/neuter and affordable veterinary services for families, and provide veterinary care to community no kill rescue organizations at cost.
