A group of students from the Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) were part of a recent panel and spoke about their CTEC experiences as well as future plans with the technical education they are getting. Participating were: Brandon Graham of Monroe-Woodbury High School; Giuseppina Corrado of Middletown High School; Sean Cohen of Marlboro High School; Katelyn Manning of The Chester Academy; and Dana Hopkinson of The Chester Academy. CTEC reinforces academics in traditional high schools by making reading, writing and math relevant in the context of actual professions.
