Monroe resident Anusha Sharma, a second-grader at Pine Tree Elementary School, has donated 21 inches to Locks of Love, an organization which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to illness or disease. Anusha’s donation provides enough hair to make two hair pieces for two different children. She has been growing her hair for the past two years, first learning about Locks for Love during a Daisy Girl Scout meeting. Her hair was cut at Fringe at Route 32 in Highland Mills.
