    Bicycle rodeo on June 18 in Monroe
    MONROE — The Monroe Police Department will host a bicycle rodeo on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to noon in the commuter parking lot on Millpond Parkway.
    Learn bike safety, ride through an obstacle course, register your bike and earn prizes.

    Vacation bible school registration now open
    HIGHLAND MILLS — Student registration for St. Patrick's Vacation Bible School is now open.
    The program will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 26 Hunter St., Highland Mills, from Monday, June 27, through Friday, July 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Children completing their second year of preschool through fifth grade are eligible.
    The cost is $25 per child.

    Middle School concerts set for next week
    CENTRAL VALLEY — The following is a list of upcoming events and scheduling within the Monroe-Woodbury School District:
    • Middle School Rec Night will take place Friday, May 20, from 3 to 6 p.m.
    • Middle School Grade 6 Blue & Yellow Band, Orchestra, Chorus and Select Chorus will perform Monday, May 23, at 7 p.m.
    • Middle School Grade 6 Red & Green Band, Orchestra and Chorus will perform Wednesday, May 25, at 7 p.m.
    • Schools will be closed Friday, May 27, and on Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day
