WTBQ offers airtime to non-profits in Orange County and Hudson Valley

WARWICK — It's called "The Non-Profit Notebook."
WTBQ (AM 1110/FM 93.5) has recently created an hour devoted to eight of the most unique non-profit charitable organizations in Orange County and the Hudson Valley.
The organizations were selected for their strong mission message and extraordinary leadership.
Listeners can tune in every Tuesday morning between 11 a.m. and noon to learn how you may volunteer, become a patron, donor or avail yourself of their services.
Each Tuesday a different non-profit will be on the air.
The program will be divided into two half-hour time slots.
On March 27, for example, the first half hour, 11 - 11:30 a.m., will feature the Orange County Arts Council, whose mission is to champion the arts, connect artists with audiences, and foster the growth of the county's creative resources.
That half hour will be followed by Access Supports For Life, whose mission is to help people live the healthiest and fullest lives possible, especially those who live with the challenges associated with developmental disabilities and behavioral health issues.
Other non-profit organizations include Zylofone, Safe Homes, Community Foundation, HONOR, Child Care Council and Hudson Valley Cancer Resource.
To learn more about each organization, visit WTBQ's home page at www.wtbq.com and click on PERSONALITIES to discover each of the amazing leaders of these organizations.
Listeners are also encouraged to call into the shows with questions, suggestions and comments and share your story with other listeners.
