Woodbury Republicans to hold candidate meet and greet on Oct. 24

    HIGHLAND MILLS — The Woodbury Republican Committee will host a Meet and Greet of candidates that were endorsed by the committee and are running in the Nov. 7 election.
    The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 7 -to 9 p.m. at the Savory Restaurant, 923 Route 32, Highland Mills.
    The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments, soft drinks, coffee and tea will be served.
    According to Donald Siebold, chairman of the Woodbury Republican Committee, the following Republican candidates have been invited:
    • Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus;
    • Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler;
    • Orange County Clerk Annie Rabbitt;
    • William DeProspo, who is running for County Court Judge;
    • Orange County Legislator District 5 Katie Bonelli, representing the Town of Blooming Grove, Village of South Blooming Grove, Monroe and Woodbury Election Districts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10;
    • Orange County Legislator District 14 James DiSalvo, representing the Towns of Highlands, Monroe and Woodbury and the Villages of Highland Falls, Harriman and Woodbury election districts 1, 2, 8 and 9;
    • Woodbury Town Justice David Hasin; and
    • Woodbury Town Clerk Desiree Herb Potvin.
