Woodbury Common to mark Lunar New Year, Presidents Day Weekend with entertainment, sales and extended hours

CENTRAL VALLEY — Woodbury Common Premium Outlets will mark Lunar New Year with traditional Chinese entertainment, extended hours and special sales to serve shoppers who visit the outlets now through Monday, Feb. 19.
The Middletown-based Fei Tian Academy will hold traditional Chinese dance and musical performances on Sunday, Feb. 18, and Monday, Feb. 19. A complimentary Hot Tea Bar will be offered at the Welcome Center through the weekend. There will also be various surprises to celebrate Lunar New Year at Guest Services.
Dozens of retailers will offer sales to mark the holiday. These will be in addition to everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent At Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

“The Lunar New Year is a time to celebrate and usher in good luck and prosperity, and Woodbury Common wants to help facilitate that celebration for our visitors,” said Roland Figueredo, the director of Marketing and Business Development. “Shoppers will be treated to great deals, entertainment and good food during this celebratory time.”
This year, Lunar New Year coincides with the President’s Day Weekend, so shoppers can take advantage of the President’s Day Weekend sidewalk sale as well, where participating retailers are offering additional discounts and promotions.
Additionally, to meet consumer demand, retailers will open their doors one hour earlier, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, through Monday, Feb. 19, so shoppers can take advantage of the holiday specials. Regular center hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
