Village of Harriman distributes 20 boxes of school supplies

HARRIMAN — In May, the Village of Harriman began a new community outreach program whose goal was to help in the aid of recycling school supplies and in helping the less fortunate children of the community.
On Sept. 1, the Village of Harriman delivered more than 20 boxes of school supplies.
Denise Guerriero from the Monroe-Woodbury School District assisted the Village of Harriman make sure these items were distributed to the children who were in need.
The village will continue to collect throughout the year and to provide supplies for those children, Harriman Mayor Stephen Welle said.
