Veterans Day in Harriman and Monroe

Church bells rang in Monroe at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Veterans Day, as part of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Like so many other places near and far, veterans, their families and fellow citizens in Harriman and Monroe paid their respects for the service to the nation.
