Tuxedo students learn the importance of fire safety

TUXEDO — Students recently had the opportunity to learn about the importance of fire safety from members of the Tuxedo Park Fire Department.
On Oct. 12, students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade at the George Grant Mason School reviewed important safety information that was presented by Chief Aaron McGrady, Lt. Richard Rattazi and firefighterJames Hickey.
The students then had the opportunity to go outside and learn about all the features of the fire truck and the important role it plays in the community.
