Terpsichore dancers earn top honors at Encore DCS competition

MONROE — Group, solo and duet performances by Terpsichore the Dancerschool's Senior, Junior A, Junior B I, Junior B II, Pre-Company and Hip Hop company teams won many top awards at the recent Encore DCS Competition, held at Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, N.J.
The school entered 11 group dances into competition in addition to 14 solo performances and three duet performances, all earning either platinum or high gold recognition.
In particular, the school's All-Company performance of "Rockin & Rollin" earned not only a first place and a platinum ranking but was given first place honors in the Overall Competitive Teen Super Group category. The dance also received a Special Judges Award for "Most Entertaining Dance" in the two day competition.
The school competed against other New Jersey dance schools.
