SUNY Orange students and employees joined others from across the United States and around the world in the Walk for the Climate on Friday, Sept. 20. The event, which drew more than 50 participants over four hours, commemorated a global day of climate action, raised awareness of climate issues, and encouraged planet-positive lifestyles. The peaceful walk held on the college’s Middletown campus was organized by Kirsten Gabrielsen, SUNY Orange sustainability coordinator, and was open to students, employees and interested members of the community.
