    Harriman Police investigating rash of car larcenies from Gold's GymHARRIMAN — Village Chief Daniel Henderson is releasing the following statement this week:
    • Due to a rash of car larcenies from Golds Gym in the Village Harriman, police are advising all patrons of Golds Gym to lock their vehicles and do not leave valuables, purses, wallets, etc., in their vehicles.
    • Unknown suspect(s) have been breaking windows and taking any valuables they have seen in plain sight.
    • These larcenies have occurred at various days and times during the week. Investigation into the unknown suspect(s) is ongoing.
    • Any information can be relayed to the Village of Harriman police at 845-782-6644.
    NYSDOT to hold meeting on Woodbury transit reconstruction project on Dec. 14 CENTRAL VALLEY — The New York State Department of Transportation will host a public meeting Thursday, Dec. 14, that will highlight and discuss design and construction plans for the Woodbury Transit & Economic Development Hub Reconstruction project (Route 17 at Route 32 – Exit 131).
    DOT officials will be joined by and the design-build team, Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. and HNTB New York Engineering and Architecture, P.C.
    The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with information regarding the selected best value design, highlight and describe the benefits of the project and to obtain public feedback.
    The project is located in the town and village of Woodbury, the town of Monroe and the village of Harriman in Orange County.
    The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Central Valley Elementary School, located at 45 Route 32 in Central Valley, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
