MONROE — This Fall, the Monroe Free Library has a slate of exciting new events for teens in grades 6 through 12.
Join us for these fun and innovative programs:
Halloween Makeup 101
Monday, Oct. 23, 5 to 7 p.m.
Take a creepy class in the basics of Halloween makeup techniques from our resident spooky savant. Learn how to make your eyes look eerie and your skin look spectral, make and apply your own petrifying prosthetics and much more of the morbid and macabre.
Dungeons and Dragons Club - First Meeting
Thursday, Nov. 7. 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Have you ever played Dungeons and Dragons? Do you want to learn how to play? Come on down to the library and learn the basics of how to play D&D, an imagination-based tabletop role playing game. Then, create your very own character to form a ragtag team of heroes to venture into The Peculiar Place.
Virtual Reality: Carnival Games
Saturday, Nov. 18, 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Ladies, gents, and anyone in between! Come on down and step right up. Use our state-of-the-art virtual reality equipment to transport yourself into a bright and colorful virtual midway.
