Johnny Motz retires from Village of Harriman Police Department

HARRIMAN — Officer Johhny Motz of the Village of Harriman Police Department retired effective Aug. 30. His service was recognized at Tuesday's Village Board meeting.
"Officer Motz had an exceptional 24- year career in law enforcement with the last 19 years as part of the Village of Harriman Police Department," Police Chief Daniel Henderson said in announcing the retirement. "Officer Motz was a certified field training officer, part of the Town of Woodbury TAC team and an integral part of the Village of Harriman being an accredited agency."
At Tuesday's meeting Motz received a retirement shield from the chief and a retirement plaque from Mayor Steven Welle.
