How the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance spent one Sunday morning

— Sunday, Feb. 4, was a busy morning for Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
As always, our priority is to have a duty crew on shift ready to handle emergencies throughout the Town of Monroe.
In addition to fulfilling this responsibility, our members were also standing by while the Monroe Joint Fire District performed drills involving ice water rescue at Walton Lake.
Lastly, four of our CPR instructors certified 14 new members and two local citizens in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Thank you to all who volunteer to ensure the health and safety of those in our town.
