Goshen man charged with possessing child pornography

Monroe - The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested a Goshen man last Thursday, March 11, for possession of a sexual performance by a child. Investigators from the State Police Barracks in Monroe, Troop F Major Crimes Unit, Troop F Forensic Identification Unit and the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit all executed a search warrant at #1035 Pulaski Highway in Goshen. According to information from the New York State Police Web site, investigators seized computers, DVD, CDs and SD (secure digital memory) cards. As a result of the search and investigation into the possession of child pornography, state police charged David Cooper, 32, with possession of a sexual performance by a child, a felony. Cooper was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Goshen Justice Court later this month.
