Girl Scout Troop 230 tour historic Monroe

Monroe Community Girl Scout Troop 230 recently went on a tour of Monroe with town historian Jim Nelson. He showed the girls pictures of what Lake Street looked like back in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The girls compared the pictures to what the town looks like today. The Junior Girl Scouts will be earning their Local Lore badge. In the picture are Troop 230 scouts Katie, Caitlin, Katelyn, Simone, Lauren, Lexi and Adriana.
