Monroe - Seventh-graders and Sacred Heart CCD students Nicole Ippoliti, Caitlin Kilkenny and Jackie Pasquariello wanted to do something different for their community service hours. They put together a fund raiser to raise money for Our Mother’s Cupboard, an outreach program at Sacred Heart Church that seeks to assist mothers and their young children. The young women sold candy before and after Halloween. They raised enough money to purchase diapers, wipes. baby food and other items. The girls wanted to thank the many people who bought the candy from them to support the work of Our Mother’s Cupboard.
