Increase in lease costs causes Pizza Hut to close Monroe - The popular Pizza Hut restaurant permanently closed its doors on Sunday, Sept. 30, following a 30-plus-year run on the corner of Routes 208 and 17M. Former manager, Pamela Mason said owners of the establishment decided not to pay the increased cost to renew the lease. Mason said the Ellenville restaurant also closed. ADF Companies headquartered in New Jersey were the franchise owners and maintain restaurant facilities ranging from Middletown and Goshen to the states of Florida, Tennessee and New Jersey, and also own the Panera Bread business.
