    Winifred M. Farrell of Goshen (and formerly of Haverstraw) passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at The Valley View Center for Nursing Care & Rehabilitation in Goshen. She was 87 years old.
    The daughter of Hugh and Mary Forbes McGinley, she was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Manhattan.
    Winifred was a retired senior clerk at Kay-Fries of Stony Point.
    She was an avid bowler and loved her Atlantic City trips to her favorite Borgata.
    Winifred was the widow of Thomas Farrell.
    Survivors include her sons Thomas B. Farrell and his wife Doreen of Sharon, Conn., and Daniel P. Farrell and his wife Annette of Middletown; her daughters Joan O’Keefe and her husband James of Highland Mills and Kathryn Sullivan and her husband William of Middletown; her brothers Bernard McGinley of South Amboy, N.J., and William McGinley of West Islip; her sister Mary O’Hearn of Lakeworth, Florida; her 12 grandchildren: Kelly, Kevin, Michael, Jessica, Megan, Sean, Christina, Timothy, Toni, Jennifer, Tommy, Ashley and Novilee; and 13 great grandchildren: Scotty, Tara, Natalie, Kennedy, Cove.
    In addition to her loving husband, Thomas, Winifred was predeceased by her son Sean P. Farrell, her brothers Michael and Hugh McGinley and her granddaughter Tara.
    A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 31, at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 N. Main St., Harriman.
    Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Haverstraw.
    Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society-Eastern Division, 121 Executive Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553 or to the charity of one’s choice.
