Toay J. Houghton

Toay J. Houghton passed away peacefully at her home in Monroe with her family by her side on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017. She was 74 years old.
The daughter of Rushmore and Muriel Whitney Houghton, she was born April 12, 1943 in Port Chester.
Toay was a retired nurse with Manning Correctional Facility in South Carolina.
Survivors include her loving children: her son Richard Crown and his wife Maura of Monroe and her daughter Linda Crown of Albion. Toay is also survived by her brother Everett Houghton and his wife Lauren and her two grandchildren: Jordan and Aidan Crown.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950.
