Patricia S. Brennan

    Patricia S. Brennan, a lifelong resident of Tuxedo, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. She was 92 years old.
    The daughter of William and Elise Hoffman Somers, she was born Sept. 11, 1925, in New York City
    Patricia worked for the Village of Tuxedo Park for many years as the Village Clerk/Treasurer. She left with many friends and fond memories upon retirement.
    Patricia enjoyed traveling throughout the country while visiting her children and grandchildren.
    Predeceased by her loving husband, John V. Brennan, together they raised ten children. She leaves behind her sons: Michael F. Brennan and his wife Fran, John A. Brennan and his wife Diane, Thomas J. Brennan and his wife Peggy; and her daughters: Nancy Montgomery and her husband Matthew, Kathryn Keenan and her husband Frank, Eileen Butler and her husband William, Barbara Sussman and her husband David, Teresa Giarraputo and her husband Jeffrey, and Holly Whelan and her husband William; seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her brother Donald Somers, and her nieces and husbands, Juliann and Robert Squillini of Monroe, and Michelle and Robert Gehrig of Stuart, Fla.
    Patricia was predeceased by her son Christopher Paul Brennan and her brother Bernard Somers and his wife Ann.
    There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 5 Tobin Way, Tuxedo.
    Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
