Nancy R. Cuomo

    Nancy R. Cuomo, resident of Monroe for many years, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 88 years old.
    The daughter of Antoinette and Raphael Giordano, she was born on March 26, 1929, in Brooklyn.
    Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband Vincent Cuomo in 2007.
    Nancy worked in many different establishments and retired from Novartis Pharmaceutical in Suffern.
    She gave much support to her children in their business, Laura Ann Farms.
    Her passion and love was raising and caring for her family. She loved to cook, bake and entertain people; she was a super host, her smile said more to people than her words, she believed in God, and her faith was unconditional.
    Survivors include her loving children: Anthony Cuomo and his wife Doreen, Laura Cuomo, Anna Bender and her husband Dennis, Charlie Adamo and his wife Cheryl; and her adoring grandchildren: Anthony Cuomo, Christina Roe and her husband Jason, and Richard Morrow; her great grandchildren: Brayden, Bradley, Anthony and Blake; and her siblings: Anna Adamo, Alfonso Giordano, Rose Bengal and Michael Giordano.
    Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
    Memorial visitation was held Dec. 18 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.
    A Funeral Mass followed at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
