Kenneth Reed Newcomb

Kenneth Reed Newcomb passed away, with his family by his side, at his home in Highland Mills, on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was 74 years old.
The son of Louis and Pearl Conklin Newcomb, he was born May 7, 1943, in Cornwall.
Kenneth was a roofer with Jones Bros. Roofing and Siding of Central Valley and retired from Woodbury Highway Department.
He was a member of Highland Mills Fire Co. and the Woodbury Golden Agers.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judith Homan Newcomb, at home; his son Kenneth Newcomb and his wife June of Monroe; his daughter Linda Kelly and her husband Michael of Milford, Pa.; his sister Janice George; his six grandchildren: Brianna, Alyssa, Olivia, Evangeline, Alexis and Colin, and his niece and nephews: Cindy, Thomas and Randy George.
Visitation was held March 22 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Highland Mills.
A Funeral Service was held March 23rd at Highland Mills United Methodist Church.
Interment followed in Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Bambino, Dr. Umangi Patel and her staff, Dr. Kirti Joseph, Palliative Care St. Luke's Hospital and Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. for their care.
