John P. Morrison

John P. Morrison of Middletown, and formerly of Washingtonville, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Northern Riverview Health Care Center in Haverstraw. He was 79 years old.
The son of James J. and Nora Flynn Morrison, he was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Brooklyn.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a die-hard fan of the N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Mets.
He was a retired vice president of Chemical Bank of New York in New York City.
He was the widower of Theresa M. Howley Morrison.
Survivors include his loving daughters: Maryanne Morrison of Middletown and Kathleen Williams and her husband James of Middletown; his sister Helen Lanaro of Venice, Fla.; brother-in-law James K. Frost of Monroe; and many nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his brother James Morrison and his sisters Nancy Frost and Marion Mee.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held in the Spring of 2018 with military honors in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
