Howard D. Bulson Jr. longtime area resident, passed away at home on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was 70.
The son of Howard D. Bulson Sr. and Stella C. Romanik Bulson, he was born in Suffern on July 15, 1947.
Howard was a supply handler for Avon Corp. in Suffern and later a truck driver for Al Turi Landfill in New Hampton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Burke Bulson, at home; son Michael Bulson and his girlfriend Vanessa Rivera of Middletown; daughters Dawn Bulson-McIlroy and husband Jeffrey of New Hampton and Kelley Long and husband Bret of Huguenot; sisters Stella Bradley of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; Laura Dolson of Westtown and Alma Conklin of Astor, Fla.; grandchildren David, Alexus, Michael, Julian, Brookelyn, Mikayla, Stephanie and Katherina; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother John Kelly and his sisters Pat Thompson and Edna Palmer.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
