Connie Lesko

Connie Lesko of Chester passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Highland Rehabilitation in Middletown. She was 89 years old.
The daughter of Salvatore and Celia Gianfortune Sclafani, she was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Manhattan.
Connie was the widow of Robert J. Lesko, who predeceased her in 2009. She worked in Food Service with Monroe-Woodbury Central Schools of Central Valley and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Survivors include her daughter June Sergio and her husband Richard of Chester; her son Robert Lesko and his wife Bernadette of Ocala, Fla.; her three grandchildren: Christine, Jeanne and Robert; and her three great-grandchildren: Reese, Teagan and Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
Connie was predeceased by her brother Buster and her sisters Mamie, Kay and Louise.
Visitation was held April 5 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 6 at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Interment will follow in Seamanville Cemetery in Monroe.
