Charlotte W. Anderson passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at the Masonic Home in Burlington, N.J. She was 97 years old.
The daughter of Charles and Louise Ganshow Memmert, she was born March 28, 1920, in Brooklyn.
Charlotte was a resident of Mt. Laurel, N.J. and formerly of Highland Mills, N.Y.
Beloved wife of the late George W. Anderson, and loving mother and mother-in-law to Kerry and Percival Banks, Forrest and Linda Anderson, the late Karen Anderson (Congelli), Laura L. Anderson, Erica and Gerald Levin and Kim and Anselmo Rivera. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally.
Charlotte will also be remembered for her love of nature, reading, writing and enthusiasm for geology. In her later years she enjoyed attending classes at the local community college, broadening her learnings on religion, autobiographical writing and the geology of New Jersey.
Visitation was held Oct. 3 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Highland Mills.
A Funeral Service followed in the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Vicky Fleming.
Interment followed in Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills.
