Time is Ticking' winner

Rachel Bertoni of Bertoni Gallery and Designs in Sugar Loaf was the first-place winner in the category of sculpture at the recent 47th Annual Orange County Arts Federation Juried Art Exhibition. The piece, “Time is Ticking” is a mixed media wall sculpture hand fabricated using corner beading normally used in construction. Several additional materials used were plastic, pins, found objects, steal wire, glass beads and faux fur. Bertoni likes gathering materials from various sources to create a cohesive concept. Using the theme of time and evolution, this piece incorporates the concept of opposites coming together.
