Santa comes to Pine Island

Pine Island - For the 52nd consecutive year, Santa Claus made a pre-Christmas appearance in Pine Island last Friday evening to accept the cheers of many and to hear the holiday wishes of young and old alike. Escorted by members of the Pine Island Fire Department, Santa, Mrs. Claus and a handful of elves were greeted by hundreds of people who came to see the man of the season at the department’s new firehouse on County Route 1. The new digs appeared to suit the man in red as well as the crowd quite well.
