Pianist to play in chamber recital

The Grand Montgomery Chamber Music and Theater Series will present pianist Jenny Lin at the Senior Center, located at 36 Bridge St., in Montgomery, on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. She will play Shostakovich, Bach and Chopin. She will also premiere a work by Laura Kaminsky who is expected to be present. Lin’s 2009 recording of Shostakovich’s Preludes and Fugues was ranked as fourth best record of the year by The Washington Post. She recently played at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, and is currently touring China. Admission is free. For more information call 457-9867.
