Pianist to perform Chopin, Schumann

Music in Central Valley opens it 2010-2011 season with pianist Todd Crow on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. at Central Valley United Methodist Church. Crow, a professor of music at Vassar, will perform a program of music by Haydn, Chopin and Schumann. Since his debut at Carnegie Hall in 1992, Crow has appeared as soloist with a long list of American and European orchestras, and at the Bard Music Festival, the Casals Festival, Music Mountain, and the Mt. Desert Festival in Maine, where he is also music director. The church is located at 12 Smith Clove Road in Central Valley. For more information call 928-6570.
