MONROE — Monroe Free Library is springing forward with a new slate of adult programming in April:
Mah Jong SeriesTuesdays in April at 6:30 p.m.
The Four Winds converge at the game table as players attempt to build “pungs” and “chows” out of ornate tiles in this traditional Chinese game that dates back to the 15th Century. Beginners are welcome.
Book Discussion: "Blue Hydrangeas"Wednesday, April 4, at 7 p.m.
What if the person who knew you best and loved you most forgot your face, and couldn’t remember your name? Join local author Marianne Sciucco for a discussion of her novel "Blue Hydrangeas: An Alzheimer's Love Story."
Shira: Psychic MediumThursday, April 19, at 7 p.m.
Crowd favorite Shira returns for a two-hour reading session at the library.
Shira has been described as “Up-lifting, fun, full of life, spirited, compassionate and heart-filled” by those who have worked with her.
